SWA5141 Remote Video Switch - for composite & B&W video

The MicroImage SWA5141 Remote Video Switch is designed for maximum flexibility. The switch has four video inputs and one output. Any input can be selected by the front panel switches or through the remote control connector.

The switch can be remotely controlled in a variety of ways via RS232, LV-TTL, TTL and CMOS compatible logic signals or by switch or contact closures. TTL & switch closure control modes include binary, a "one-of" select mode with a momentary contact closure. The RS232 mode follows a very simple and easy to use protocol to control the unit with all ASCII characters. Regardless of modes, the current state of the switch can always be queried via RS232.

The SWA5141 switch is designed for composite video and monochrome video signals. It utilizes professional BNC connectors for the video signals.

These switch units may be powered from a single +12VDC power supply. A universal power supply that will operate from 120 to 230VAC, 50/60Hz is included with the unit.

High quality video cables are available from MicroImage Video Systems in lengths from 1 foot to over 100 feet. Custom sizes up to 500 feet and special very low loss cables are also available. BNC, S-Video and RGBS cable sets in many common sizes are available through MicroImage Video Systems. We also stock common adapters and barrel connectors.

The SWA5141 is available as a cased unit or as a board level product. Custom designed or modified versions are also available. MicroImage Video Systems has designed custom derivatives of our standard video switches to meet the special needs of different applications. We would be glad to help with your application. The SWA5141 has a one year parts and labor limited warranty. Board level version of the SWA5141 are RoHS compatible.
