TT300 and TT700 Video Timer / Titlers

The MicroImage Video Systems TT300 and TT700 Timer/Titlers are video display generators which allow digital time and date information to be superimposed over video images. With the addition of the optional keyboard, the unit becomes a title generator capable of superimposing titles and/or text over video images.

The TT300 is compatible with NTSC Video, S-Video (YC) and monochrome video sources. The TT700 is compatible with NTSC, S-Video, Monochrome and RGB sources and will automatically sense the source and determine the correct processing.

The timer may be used either in real time mode or stop clock mode. Both time and date may be displayed separately or together. Stop clock mode will display hours, minutes, seconds and 1/10th seconds. Five stop clock modes are provided including cumulative split and taylor split timing.

A Display button conveniently allows the Timer/Titler display to be turned on or off, allowing the video image to pass through. Other front panel controls allow the timer information to be placed in various areas of the display. Two character sizes are provided.

A message function is provided that will hold up to 12 characters in battery backed memory and display it each time the unit is turned on. This function may be disabled if not required.

All appropriate output connectors appear on the rear panel for easy interface with a video printer, VCR and/or monitor.

When the optional keyboard is connected to the TT300 or TT700, up to 10 lines of 24 characters per line may be displayed. The timer display may be used with the title display for added flexibility. The titler generates both upper and lower case characters.
