CBG310S Color Bar Generator

The CBG310S is a compact color bar generator designed for ease of use and quick system tests. It produces the full color bar test pattern which makes it suitable for monitor alignment.

With the CBG310 series, MicroImage Video Systems launches a new line of digitally generated color bar and test signal products.

The CBG310S is designed to provide an accurate signal source for system testing. It also provides the necessary components for aligning color monitors to the proper brightness, color and hue.

It provides a SMPTE style, split field color bar signal. The top part consists of the seven standard 75% bars including the left most gray bar. Below this line is a small row of reverse bars that includes only those colors that have blue in them. This is primarily used for monitor chroma and phase adjustments. The bottom row consists of the standard -I, White, Q, Black and Pluge components. The Pluge signals make it very easy to properly adjust black level (brightness) on a video monitor.

The CBG310S will usually fit in a toolbox with ease and even fit into a pocket. There is also a rack mount kit available as well. Power is provided by a 5VDC source and a small wall plug power supply is included with the packaged CBG310S

The CBG310S will be available for both NTSC and PAL video systems. Standard output connectors include a BNC connector for the composite output and the standard 4 pin Mini-DIN S-Video connector.

The CBG310S has a one year parts and labor limited warranty.

MicroImage Video Systems also offers a board level version of this product. OEMs can purchase board level products in quantity for integration into their own project. A variety of options are available for connectors and signal outputs. This saves valuable time and money. MicroImage Video Systems can also create fully custom versions for an applicable engineering fee.
