| DEC300 DSP Composite or S-Video to RGB Video Decoder |
| The DEC300 is a composite/S-Video to RGB decoder designed for industrial video applications. The DEC300 is especially useful for converting a camera or other signal to RGB since RGB cameras are far less common today. The DEC300 uses state of the art digital signal processing for accurate decoding. In addition, the DEC300 will also time base correct the signal, providing stable output timing even with unreliable signals such as VCRs. A separate sync signal is always provided and sync can be enabled on all three (Red, Green and Blue) outputs. In addition to the RGB and sync outputs, the DEC300 will provide time base corrected S-Video and composite video outputs. Both NTSC and PAL standards are supported. | ||||
| The unit is
compatible with most video sources that generate NTSC or PAL video, even from VCRs and
camcorders. The composite video input is a BNC connector while the S-Video input is a
standard 4 pin mini-DIN type. The RGB and sync output is provided on a 9 pin D-sub
connector. Power for the encoder is provided by the included a universal (120-230V) power adapter. The DEC300 can also be powered from a clean 12VDC (11-20VDC), negative ground source. The RK121 will mount one DEC300 in a 1U rack height while the RK122 will hold two units. The DEC300 has a one year warranty. Custom and board level versions (base Part# BL-DEC300-01) are available for OEM and VAR applications. |
Note: The DEC300 will provide an output frequency that is NTSC or PAL standard and therefore will NOT work with most computer monitors that operate at horizontal frequencies of 31.5Khz and higher. We ask that you check your equipment before purchasing an DEC300. Thank you. |
